Grounding/Earthing

If you feel low on energy, having a bad mood and feel you don't get the recharge you need to be able to deal with life, find a seclusive spot in a forest of your chosing. Touch the trees as you walk around and find the tree that calls to you the most. Sit down next to it and remove your shoes and socks. Push your feet to the ground and lean yourself upon the tree.

Envision a green healing energywave coming from the root of the tree, through you and pushing all the negative stuff (blackish color) out through your feet and into the ground. Sit like this until you feel recharged and relaxed. It can take from 10 minutes and up to an hour or more. Sometimes the feeling of peace and happiness may occur out of the blue.You can also experience getting very emotional, and crying may happen as it is a form of release.

And don't worry, nature has is own way to neutralize the negativity, balancing it out and making use of it.

Being an introvert, being a highly sensitive person, an empath and having a condition that takes a lot of my energy, I do this as often as I can. Nature heals me in a way that most things can't. When I feel I need to be out for a while, I bring my art supplies or a good book to assist in the healing.

    I almost missed it. The part about how long it takes to feel the benefit of recharging ~ thank you. Sometimes we rush about so much we forget things aren't always instantaneous :-}  that we need to stop and breathe.
