Items needed; four Quarter candles yellow, red, blue, green. God candle gold, Goddess candle silver, enough hard-boiled eggs for all members of the Coven, cauldron, incense, charcoal burner, athame and matches.
Meditate, cleanse, ground, and centre before starting ritual.
Ostara Ritual
All join hands and cast the Circle
We summon the Circle, the Circle we summon
Power and peace and protection come in
Bind to the womb our spiritual birth
Through water and fire and air and earth
Invocation of the Quarters and Deities
After each direction and Deity is called, each member lights a candle on the altar.
East
I call upon the spirits of the East to come and witness this Circle event, powers of Air
Sail on golden rings of dawn
Blow away the staleness of this winter
Be with us at this Holy Hour
Light yellow candle
South
I call upon the spirits of the South to come and witness this Circle event, powers of Fire
Bring the heat of noon to warm our days
Coax the seeds from the womb of the Earth

Core Ritual
High Priestess
Salt is mixed with a bowl of water
Earth and Water are then combined.
Starting at the East, and walking desoil
the water shall be sprinkled around the edge of the circle back to the Eastern point.
The bowl shall be placed on the altar.
High Priestess now taps cauldron three times and says:
Now I cast behind us the darkness of winter and the past
we look ahead to that which lies before us
now is the time of planting new seeds
in the physical, mental, and spiritual planes
Lights silver Goddess candle
High Priest
Lights the incense and says:
We burn these flames in your beloved thoughts;
we light this incense in reverence to the Air
I now smell the scents of Mother Nature in the springtime
for it invigorates all of our senses so that we can better become
one with the seasons of life.
High Priest will stand before the alter facing East, lifting up the athame
He begins the invocation
Let us give praise
to the glory of the God
Sun of Righteousness!
Sol Invictus!
We hail Thy triumph
over the seasons of the shadow!
The shinning brilliance of illuminated Truth
and the manifest splendor of the Sacred
we add to the adoration of the ancients
as we ascribe to Thee praise and honor
Oh Ascendant King of planetary Gods!

High Priest will then set his athame in its place.
High Priest picks up an egg and says:
This represents the seeds of our goals and desires
Now passes an egg to each member saying:
We place our dreams and desires
Into the keeping of the Goddess and the God
May these goals manifest and
Become part of our physical life
Each member decorates their egg in symbols that represent
their goals and / or desires
Raise Energy
Turn, turn, Wheel of the Year
Winter be gone, let the season of Spring be here!
Repeat until the desired level of energy is raised.

Venerated as symbols of life renewed
For as many millennia as humans
Have walked upon this Earth
They are now charged with the life energy
We have raised in this Sacred Circle

Each member, in turn, puts out the candle he or she lit for the Quarters
